Jackie is an experienced coach having spent time coaching with the Austin Royals (boys), HCI Storm (boys) and St. Thomas Episcopal School in Houston (girls).
Jackie played collegiate basketball at Cal State Fullerton for one year and then transferred to Abilene Christian. As a senior in 1999-2000, Jackie was first team all Lone Star Conference, Daktronics First Team All-American, and Third Team Academic All-American. She was also named the Texas state winner of the Honda NCAA Woman of the Year award. She shot 69.4 percent from the field that season, which was the top percentage in all of women's college basketball. Her junior season she was the conference Player of the Year.
After college Jackie played professionally in Europe for two seasons and two seasons with the Houston Stealth of the NWBL.
Jackie is married to her college sweetheart and current assistant women’s basketball coach at the University of Texas, George Washington Jr. She has four children, Lashann, George III, Jackson, and Jayden.
